The Oromo Community Ireland has once again extended its hand to support our people in Ethiopia during times of crisis. Recently, we provided financial assistance to the Oromo people who were displaced due to local community clashes. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and every member of our community who generously contributed to help the affected individuals and families.
This is not the first time we have stood with our people in their darkest hours. We previously supported those suffering from famine in Wallega and provided financial aid to displaced people in Wollo due to local community clashes. During the violence that followed the tragic death of artist Hachalu Hundessa, we also came together—both as a group and as individuals—to help victims receive medical treatment for the wounds they suffered.
In our effort to reach the Salale people, we are deeply grateful to the Salale Non-Profit Organization for ensuring that our support reaches those who need it the most.

Our commitment to helping Oromo people in distress is unwavering. In the past, we stood with our people when they faced hardship in Yemen, Sudan, and other places where they encountered difficult situations. We will continue to be there for our people, offering whatever assistance we can—both financial and moral support.
The Oromo Community Ireland is a legally registered charity organization in Ireland. As a community-driven initiative, we are not aligned with any political group—our mission is purely humanitarian. Our purpose is simple: to support each other here in Ireland and to be a voice for the voiceless Oromo people in Ethiopia. We have done this before, including during the brutal Wayane regime, and we will continue to do so.
Once again, we sincerely thank our generous members, young and old, male and female, for making these acts of solidarity possible. Together, we will always stand with our people in their time of need.
